Pre- flooring

This is the under layment that goes down before the Karndean is glued. This process ensures that there are no voids or any kind of unevenness. After the wood is nailed down, there will be a puddy that will be added to fill in the spaces between the wood panels.

Master bath fixtures!

These are Toto fixtures. Check out www.totousa.com. Nice stuff.

Check the drawers out! They glide shut, on their own.

Trim and counter tops

This is the jacuzzi room with the trim up and the new vanity top to the left.

The master bedroom vanity top looking south.

One of the kids vanities with the sink installed.

Again, standing in the middle of the kids hallway, looking south. You can see the trim up around the linen closets.

Paint and driveway

Alot has happened since last updating this blog. We were on vacation and I have been super busy. This last week all of the exterior and interior painting has been finished. Additionally the third car driveway has been installed. This was originally going to be a blacktop driveway, but we are out of money for this project. Jim didn't want us to be without a driveway, so he had a gravel one installed.

You can see the original windows below with their brown and green window frames. I will be updating the windows when money is available and triming them out in white.

Interior progress: doors and vanities

All of the vanities were delivered. We in the master bath, facing south. There is some duct work that will need to go under the vanity on the right to heat and cool this bathroom area.

These doors are facing out the back of the house and divide the jacuzzi room from the rest of the bathroom. The pocket doors will allow the jacuzzi room to retain it's heat and steam when in use, while letting light through.

I am looking south, standing in the middle of the long kids hallway. These doors are the individual linen closets. They are bi-folds on this side and regular doors on the other. Each child can keep their towels, bed sheets, etc. here.

This is a shot of the indiviual sink vanities that wil be in each childs room. To the right of the vanity is a medicine cabinet.

Walking from the individual's room, through a private door, you enter the sink area. If you continue straight you will open a pocket door that slides to the right. This leads you into the shared area, where the individual linen closets are on the right, and the shared bath and toilet on the left.
